North of York University Heights is Steeles Avenue West; to the south is Sheppard Avenue West. On the east is Dufferin Street, while Black Creek runs along the western edge of the neighbourhood.

HWY 401’s main exits, Keele Street and Allen Road are 4 to 6 km away. Downsview Station is located on Allen Road as the nearest subway station, and the nearest GO station is GO York University, near Keele Street.
